How to prepare your file
Group

One group per pieceNot grouped

  • Artwork
  • Cut line
  1. One piece, one group. Select the artwork of each piece with its cut line, then Object > Group (Ctrl+G, or Cmd+G on a Mac). TrueNest moves the whole group as one piece.
  2. The cut line is a closed path with a stroke and no fill, for example in a CutContour spot colour.
  3. Save as .ai with Create PDF Compatible File ticked, or export a PDF (from CorelDRAW too). Only the first page is read.
